Biography
Dr. Botros is an orofacial pain specialist and a clinical assistant professor at the division of TMD & Orofacial Pain. He is trained in clinical research and epidemiology and is interested in investigating new treatments for chronic facial and oral pain. Clinically, his expertise includes the management of complex temporomandibular disorders (TMD), headaches, trigeminal neuropathic pain, and obstructive sleep apnea. In addition, Dr. Botros has didactic and clinical teaching roles at the division.
Teaching
Dr. Botros is involved in clinical teaching at the TMD and orofacial pain residency program. He is interested in implementing innovative methods in the pre- and post-doctoral levels of education as well as distance learning.
