Summary
Dr. Jeff Karp is a pediatric dentist and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Developmental and Surgical Sciences at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is the Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program. Jeff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Hemaintains clinical privileges with University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. In this capacity, Dr. Karp teaches pediatric dentistry residents and dental students to provide a dental home for infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical conditions, physical, neurodevelopmental, and intellectual disabilities, and cleft and craniofacial differences. Dr. Karp, a 2016-2019 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Fellow, is Chair-Elect of the Section on Oral Health at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Jeff is a husband and father of 3 daughters, an avid audiobook and podcast listener, a coffee and chocolate enthusiast, and a street photographer and digital artist with an international following on Instagram.
