Directions to the Faculty Dental Clinic

Patient Parking

Parking is provided in the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp. This ramp is located directly across the street from Moos Tower. Patients of the School of Dentistry receive a reduced parking rate with a validated parking ticket. Bring your ticket with you to the clinic validation.

The parking ramp sign may say "Full, reservations only." Your appointment in the School of Dentistry is considered a reservation. If the ramp is full, inform the attendant that you have a dental appointment to obtain entrance. Please bring a copy of the text or email of your appointment confirmation to the parking ramp.

There is also metered parking on the street.

Accessing the Faculty Dental Clinic in the Phillips Wangensteen Building from Washington Avenue Parking Ramp

  • Go to the elevators, in the southwest corner of the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp
  • Take the elevator or stairs to the basement level of the ramp
  • Take the tunnel under Washington Avenue to Moos Tower
  • You will then be on the 2nd floor level of Moos Tower
  • Go to the Caribou Coffee (to the left of the Escalator)
  • Take elevator to the 7th floor
  • Take Skyway to Faculty Dental Clinic

Additional safety measures have been put in place to limit exposure and potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. Protective equipment has been installed throughout the clinics and waiting areas, and additional personal protective wear is worn by staff and students. 

Patient check-in now includes:

  • Additional security checks in Moos Tower. Please bring a copy of your identification (driver’s license or other photo ID), and a confirmation of your appointment (a copy of your appointment reminder text, email or postcard confirmation). We can confirm your appointment on-site if you aren’t able to provide a copy.

  • Please bring a photo ID and insurance card to the appointment.

For the safety of all:

  • We ask that only the patient attend the appointment. Exceptions include parents/guardians accompanying children and people providing mobility support. Any additional visitors will either be asked to exit the building or the appointment will be rescheduled.

  • If you or anyone in your household has a fever and/or respiratory symptoms, or if you or anyone you have been in contact with has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment.

From the North

  1. Take I-35W south to Highway 280. Follow Highway 280 south to I-94W
  2. Take I-94W to Huron Boulevard
  3. Take the Huron Boulevard exit & immediately merge to the far left lane
  4. Turn left on Fulton Street
  5. Turn right on Harvard Street

From the South

  1. Take I-35W north to I-94E
  2. Take I-94E to Huron Boulevard
  3. Take the Huron Boulevard exit & immediately merge to the far left lane
  4. Turn left on Fulton Street
  5. Turn right on Harvard Street

From East or West

  1. Take I-94 (east or west) to Huron Boulevard
  2. Take the Huron Boulevard exit & immediately merge to the far left lane
  3. Turn left on Fulton Street
  4. Turn right on Harvard Street

Washington Avenue Parking Ramp (from all directions)

  1. Follow Harvard St. to Beacon St. Loop around the parking ramp (on your left)
  2. Turn left at Beacon St.
  3. Turn left at Union St.
  4. Turn left into parking ramp
